Typical assignments include the preparation and task management of traffic impact analyses for public and private development projects, operational analyses for roadway improvement projects, and conceptual design of capital improvements. The position requires a bachelor's or master's degree in traffic engineering, transportation planning, urban planning, or a related field. The candidate should be a Registered Professional Engineer (PE) or Traffic Engineer (TE) with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of direct experience in working on and managing land development and/or transportation projects. Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills are required.
